Bachelorette Party Decorations, Treats, & Games

I recently had the pleasure of co-hosting and attending one of my best friend's bachelorette parties! I was a little too busy preparing and then enjoying myself to take great pictures of everything, but still want to share some details of the night, so forgive these hastily taken gems.

First, the food! My sister and I baked and decorated some lingerie cookies for the party. We looked at these ones for inspiration. It's super easy--just buy premade sugar cookie dough (or make your own if you're not lazy, ha!), roll it out, cut out cookies with a heart cookie cutter, bake, let cool, and use icing to decorate them as bras and panties. We used two larger hearts, but some of them came out a little wonky, so next time I plan on using smaller ones.

As you can see in the above photo, we also had a delicious cheese and cracker spread! We dined at the bride-to-be's favorite Mexican restaurant, so we didn't need a ton of treats beforehand--but we did prepare a punch to enjoy as she opened gifts. It's called "The Sarasota" and I found it on Pinterest--just mix one can of raspberry lemonade concentrate and one bottle of Moscato or Riesling with a splash of sprite and some frozen raspberries. It was delicious!

Here's the only blog-approved shot of the bride opening stuff--her future sister-in-law gave her a beach towel to use on her honeymoon :)

I knew I wanted to make a banner for the party ever since I'd pinned this cute glittery one, so I used my Silhouette to create my own. The free shape of the week at the Silhouette store was actually the banner kit, so designing it didn't cost me a thing! I picked up some coordinating paper at Michael's, cut out all the letters and backing, glued them on, and laminated them (since the paper was super curly from the Silhouette cutting mat and two days of pressing them didn't cure it!) Then my sister strung them up on some pink baker's twine. She taped the back of each circle so that they wouldn't slide.

I also made a custom bachelorette cup using a pink margarita glass from Target's Dollar Spot and some black letter stickers and stick-on rhinestones from Michael's. Here it is pre-party:

And here it is in use, full of margarita at the restaurant:

We also played a game at the MOH's house pre-dinner. I'd seen this fun "Who knows the Bachelorette?" survey on Pinterest, but couldn't ever locate the actual printable because it was linked to a Tumblr (boo!) So, I just created my own questionnaire! I customized it a bit for my friend, but here's a version that you can use, too!

All in all, it was a fun night to remember! Now I'm looking forward to her wedding--there are so many DIY touches and vintage details that I plan to share on the blog :)

  3. Pretty useful information on bachelor party decorations. Last month, I arranged my sister’s tea party at one of lavish San Francisco venues. Invited all her friends as a surprise and hired famous party DJ services where we had excellent time at event.
